vacations
pl. n. The periods between the end of any of the sittings of the Senior Courts and the beginning of the next sitting, i.e. the Long Vacation, Christmas Vacation, Easter Vacation, and Whitsun Vacation. Provisions relating to the hearing of High Court cases in vacation are set out in a Practice Direction to Part 39 of the Civil Procedure Rules. The vacation judge is the High Court judge listed to deal with such matters. |
