| 释义 | 註冊證明書 A definite form issued as, or deemed to be, proof or confirmation that a person, body or thing has been registered in accordance with a statutory requirement. For example, a society receives a certificate of registration signed by the Registrar of Co-operative Societies shall be conclusive evidence that the society therein mentioned is duly registered, unless it is proved that the registration of the society has been cancelled: Co-operative Societies Ordinance (Cap 33) s 9. However, the issue of the certificate of registration may not be deemed to imply that the requirements of any law in relation to such business or to the persons carrying on the same or employed therein has been complied with: Business Registration Ordinance (Cap 310) s 6. Certain categories of certificate of registration is required by law to be exhibited in a conspicuous place on the premises, for instance, the dentist’s certificate of registration, or to be displayed at every address where business is carried on in case of a business registration certificate: Dentists Registration Ordinance (Cap 156) s 14; Business Registration Ordinance (Cap 310) s 12.
