释义 | 鬥雞 A fight between gamecocks, sometimes with metal spurs attached to their legs, upon which punters usually bet. At common law, keeping a cock-pit is an indictable offence: R v Howel (1675) 3 Keble 465, 84 ER 826; Squires v Whisken (1811) 3 Camp 140, 170 ER 1333. Offences related to the fighting or baiting of animals: Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Ordinance (Cap 169) s 3; R v Lam Fun [1958] 1 HKLR 33.
