| 释义 | 災難 An overwhelming situation or event occurring on a scale sufficient to require external assistance. Disasters can be further classified into natural disaster and technological disaster. Natural disasters, which most likely to affect our place, including severe thunderstorms, typhoons, tornadoes, floods and flash floods, earthquakes, hill fires, drought, and extreme heat. Technological disasters refer to hazardous materials incidents, structural fires and explosions, and radiological accidents.
