| 释义 | 土地使用分區 A way of controlling land development by designating areas for specific land uses. An outline zoning plan, recognised by the Town Planning Ordinance (Cap 131), consists of a map of the area covered by the plan. The map divides the plan area into a number of zones or districts. Attached to the map is an explanatory note, indicating particularly the types of uses intended to be permitted or encouraged in the various zones. It controls future development or redevelopment, while activities already established are granted ‘existing use’ rights which ensure continuity and even some limited expansion.
