释义 | 賭館 A place used for playing an unlawful game including areas used to gain access to, or exit from, such a place, whether or not the place is open only for the use of members of a club or to the public generally. Any place, whatever its nature or normal use, may become a gaming house temporarily by de facto use, that is, by the setting up therein, whether with or without the knowledge of the management or proprietor, of a betting establishment in the sense of a person conducting a business of taking bets laid with him by other persons resorting thereto: A-G v Chan Man Kong [1967] HKLR 225.
