| 释义 | 暫停執行 1. A postponement of execution of a sentence or the deferring of a judgment after legal proceedings have been concluded. 2. A temporary extinguishment in a person’s right or title in something. 3. Cessation of payment of business debts as a result of insolvency. 4. The temporary removal from a particular post or office for whatever reason. See also Extinguish. Education - A disciplinary sanction by which a student is forbidden to attend an educational institution for a given period of time. If in the opinion of the Permanent Secretary for Education and Manpower the behaviour of any pupil is undesirable or improper or contrary to the good of the school or the other pupils he may, in his absolute discretion, require the supervisor and principal to expel such pupil from the school or to suspend him for such time and under such conditions as the Permanent Secretary may specify: Education Regulations (Cap 279A) reg 96(1). This does not prejudice the right of a principal or supervisor to expel or suspend a pupil from the school: reg 96(2).
