| 释义 | 經宣誓的陳述 A written statement in the name of the deponent sworn or affirmed before the court or person who has power to administer the oath for the purpose of verifying the statement in question: Crimes Ordinance (Cap 200) s 45. Every court, judge, magistrate, officer, commissioner, arbitrator or other person having by law or consent of the parties authority to hear, receive and examine evidence is empowered to administer an oath to witnesses: Oaths and Declarations Ordinance (Cap 11) s 3; The Rules of the High Court (Cap 4A) O 32 r 8. An oath, affidavit, affirmation and notarial act administered, sworn, affirmed or done before a diplomatic or consular officer of the People’s Republic of China outside the People’s Republic of China will be as effectual as if duly administered, sworn, affirmed, or done by or before any lawful authority in Hong Kong: Oaths and Declarations Ordinance (Cap 11) s 10; The Rules of the High Court (Cap 4A) O 32 r 8.
