释义	易受傷害的原告人 A person who is particularly vulnerable or sensitive to injury or damage. Where it was foreseeable that the plaintiff would suffer some form of injury from the defendant’s negligence, a duty of care is established, and the plaintiff’s extraordinary sensitivity does not preclude the recovery of damages. The egg shell skull rule applies, requiring the tortfeasor to take the victim as he or she is found: Smith v Leech Brain & Co Ltd [1962] 2 QB 405, [1961] 3 All ER 1159. A tortfeasor will be liable for damages if he is aware or ought to have been aware of the victim’s special susceptibility: Hay (or Bourhill) v Young [1943] AC 92, [1942] 2 All ER 396 (HL); Yim Tat Fai v A-G [1986] HKLR 873.
