释义	管理基金 A unit trust run by a portfolio manager who actively varies the composition of the portfolio between shares, bonds, debentures and property to achieve the best returns. In assessing loss of future earnings in personal injury actions, expert evidence bearing upon investment yields on managed funds is not permissible. An examination of what investment strategy might or might not be adopted in any particular case is not allowed. All the trial judge could properly do is to evaluate the evidence bearing upon the yield of conservatively managed funds over the past 11 or 12 years: Leung On & Anor v Chan Pui Ki (An Infant) [1996] 2 HKC 565, 2 HKLR 401 (CA).
