船舶承租人
One who enters into a contract with a ship owner for the carriage of goods by sea. The contract of charter is known as the ‘charterparty’. The rights and obligations of the charterer depend upon the type of charterparty entered into. The charterer guarantees the accuracy of marks, number, weight and measurements furnished to carriers.
