| 释义 | 家庭法 The area of law relating to the regulation of human relationships and particularly the consequences that flow from the end of such relationship. Family law includes such matters as disputes about the residence of and contact with children, property and maintenance disputes between married partners, the maintenance of children, and the legal end of married relationship through divorce or annulment. In any proceedings in which the District Court of Hong Kong or the Court of First Instance have jurisdiction under the Matrimonial Causes Ordinance (Cap 179), the issues are to be determined in accordance with the law which would be applicable thereto if both parties were domiciled in Hong Kong at the time of the proceedings: Halsbury’s Laws of Hong Kong, Vol 12, Family Law [180.051].
