释义 | 佔領/職業 1. Control of a territory by foreign military forces. 2. A person’s work, trade, or profession. Conflict of laws - The period during which a state is subject to the sovereignty of another state, either belligerently or with its consent. The territory in question may be newly discovered, have been forcibly taken, or abandoned by the state formerly in control. The legal principle of effectiveness determines whether occupation has taken place. Occupation is effective when the appropriating state intends to act as sovereign, displaying a permanent intention to exercise control, and adequately exercises and displays its sovereignty: Legal Status of Eastern Greenland (Denmark v Norway) 1933 PCIJ ser A/B NO 53.
