释义	上議院 1. In England, the upper house of Parliament. 2. The Final Court of Appeal in England and Wales and Northern Ireland. Until 1948, all appeals to the House of Lords were heard in the chamber of the House. Appeals are now heard by the Appeal Committee, which usually consists of five Lords Ordinary of Appeal.
