释义	毒藥 A substance which if taken in sufficient quantities would be deleterious and harmful to human life or human health and well-being. All poisons are described in the Poisons List under the Pharmacy and Poisons Ordinance (Cap 138) s 2. Anyone selling poison in Hong Kong must be authorised to do so: Pharmacy and Poisons Ordinance (Cap 138) s 11(1). It is a serious offence to violate the law and sell illegal poisons to members of the public or be in possession of such poisons: HKSAR v Lau Shui Kwan (HCMA 9/2003, unreported).
