| 释义 | 僱傭合約 It means any agreement, whether in writing or oral, express or implied, whereby one person agrees to employ another and that other agrees to serve his employer as an employee, and also a contract of apprenticeship: Employment Ordinance (Cap 57) s 2. It is a contract of service rather than a contract for service: Lee Ting Sang v Chung Chi Kung [1990] HKLR 764 (HL). In a wider sense, it also means a contract of service or of apprenticeship, or a contract personally to execute any work or labour and related expressions are to be construed accordingly: Sex Discrimination Ordinance (Cap 480) s 2(1); Disability Discrimination Ordinance (Cap 487) s 2(1).
