| 释义 | 嬉鬧 An activity or action carried on by an employee which is not authorised by the employer, or which is outside the scope or course of employment. It negates the vicarious liability of the employer. It would be unreasonable to hold an employer liable for an employee said to be ‘on a frolic of his own’: Young Conqueror Co Ltd v Commercial Union Assurance Co plc & Ors [1992] 2 HKC 486 (HC).
