释义 | 除非另有列名 Abbr – n.o.s. A term used in a schedule of items to cover anything else which is not specifically set out in the list. The term may be used in freight tariff schedules to cover goods not specifically described elsewhere: The Mormaclynx (US Ct) [1970] 1 Lloyd’s Rep 527. For example, the ‘general cargo N.O.S. rates’ is a catchall classification applying to commodities for which no specific commodity rates are specified: American Export Isbrandtsen Lines Inc & Ors v Federal Maritime Commission & USA (US Ct) [1970] 1 Lloyd’s Rep 343. Also known as ‘not otherwise specified’.
