A limited interest in property, or the rights in a chattel that do not amount to absolute ownership, such as the right of a bailee in the subject matter of a bailment: Halsbury’s Laws of Hong Kong, Vol 20, Personal Property [295.015]. A bailee may have certain rights, such as to the right to sue someone who damages the property (The Winkfield [1902] P 42, but is estopped from disputing the title of the bailor: Biddle v Bond (1865) 6 B & S 225, 122 ER 1179. 2.
