| 释义 | 再度制定 The enactment by the legislature of statutory provisions that have previously been enacted and are in force. Where any Ordinance repeals and re-enacts, with or without modification, any provision of a former Ordinance, references in any other Ordinance to the provision so repealed shall be construed as references to the provision so re-enacted: Interpretation and General Clauses (Cap 1) s 15(2). The re-enactment of a legislative provision without alteration after judicial interpretation of the provision raises the assumption that the legislature has approved the interpretation: Campbell, Ex p, Re Cathcart (1870) LR 5 Ch App 703.
