| 释义 | 草擬 The preparation by a legal practitioner or other person of a legal document or other type of document in a rough or preliminary fashion during the course of its preparation before the final version on perfected copy of the document is produced. Bills of Exchange - A bill purchased from a bank to settle an international transaction. An instrument payable on demand drawn by a banker upon himself, whether payable at the head office or some other office of his bank: Bills of Exchange Ordinance (Cap 19) s 83(2)(b). If the draft’s purpose is to pay for goods, the title for the goods granted by documents are attached to the draft sent to the purchaser’s bank. The purchaser receives the documents when he or she accepts the draft or pays the account. Also known as ‘bill of exchange’. See also Bill of exchange.
