释义 | 專屬主權 Under international law, a supreme controlling power over airspace, territory, or resources. A nation has exclusive sovereignty over the land mass within its boundaries, including islands, its territorial seas, and the airspace above its land and sea territory: United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea 1982 art 2; Convention on International Civil Aviation (Chicago Convention) 1944 art 1. In the exclusive economic zone and the continental shelf, a country only exercises sovereign rights in relation to natural resources and does not have exclusive sovereignty: United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea 1982 arts 56, 77(1).
