| 释义 | 交接性權益 Where the possession or enjoyment of some property of a deceased person’s estate by one or some of the beneficiaries is subject to the prior possession or enjoyment of that property by the other beneficiaries, the respective interests are successive interests, as opposed to concurrent interests; for example a life interest followed by an interest in remainder or a reversionary interest. Successive interests in leasehold property can only exist under trust or for a term of years, for example property is vested in a tenant for life as trustee for those entitled in remainder.
