Building and construction - An interval of time between two consequential activities contemplated in the contractor’s building programme. It arises where sequential activities need not proceed immediately after the completion of an antecedent event. It can also be defined as the amount of time by which a non-critical task can be delayed before it affects the progress of another task on the contractor’s programme.
