| 释义 | 臨時總價合約 A type of rated building contract in which a provisional bill of quantities is prepared, based on outline drawings, and is priced by the contractor. The resulting tender is provisional. Ultimately, the work is remeasured and the provisional sum is adjusted by applying the bill rates to the quantities as determined by remeasurements. The fundamental nature of a provisional lump sum contract is that the proprietor guarantees the bill of quantities to the contractor and the price is accordingly to be recalculated in the light of variation between the billed quantities and the ‘as built’ quantities: Sist Constructions Pty Ltd v State Electricity Commission of Victoria [1982] VR 597. Also known as ‘provisional lump sum contract’.
