释义	免除協議 In relation to arbitration, a provision in an arbitration agreement excluding the rights to appeal or judicial review of arbitration awards as well as the determination of a preliminary point of law by the court: Arbitration Ordinance (Cap 341) s 23B(1). An exclusion agreement may be expressed so as to relate to a particular award, to awards under a particular reference or to any other description of awards, whether arising out of the same reference or not; and an agreement may be an exclusion agreement for the purposes of this section whether it is entered into before or after the passing of this Ordinance and whether or not it forms part of an arbitration agreement: s 23B(3). An exclusion agreement may be waived: Marine Contractors Inc v Shell Petroleum Development Co of Nigeria Ltd [1984] 2 Lloyd’s Rep 77.
