单词 Interest
The charge or price payable in respect of the use of another sum (the principal), usually expressed as a percentage of the principal. Interest is one element of a bank’s profit on a loan agreement. It is payment for the use of money or compensation for being kept out of it. Thus in the absence of clear language in an agreement, interest is not payable for moneys which have not been drawn down or which have been repaid: Ross Cranston Principles of Banking Law (1997) p 337 (Clarendon Press). See also Insurable interest; Risk.
Real property - A loose term for a proprietary right in real property. All forms of property and proprietary rights, including legal and equitable rights, security rights, and rights of use or restriction over another’s property, are interests. See also Common law; Estate; Equity; Interest in land; Securities.
另見 Common law; Estate; Equity; Interest in land; Securities。n.
