释义 | 期貨交易所 1. A recognised exchange that operate a futures market: Securities and Futures Ordinance (Cap 571) s 19(1). It has the function of administering and regulating a futures market where futures contracts can be acquired or disposed of. The Securities and Futures Commission may recognise a company as an exchange company if it is satisfied that it is appropriate to do so in the interest of the investing public or in the public interest or for the proper regulation of markets in futures contracts: s 19(2). A futures exchange has a duty to take all reasonably practical actions to ensure an orderly, informed and fair market for dealings in futures contracts that are traded on that futures market or through the facilities of that company: s 21(1)(a)(ii). 2.
