| 释义 | 侵擾及威迫 Repeated attacks accompanied by the threat of depriving an owner or possessor of something which he or she owns or possesses, or of preventing him or her from obtaining an advantage which he or she would otherwise have gained. Coercion involves conduct which negates a person’s choice: Hodges v Webb [1920] 2 Ch 70; Pao On & Ors v Lau YiuLong & Anor [1979] HKLR 225. A contract procured by harassment and coercion may be voidable on the ground of duress: Barton v Armstrong [1976] AC 104; Pao On & Ors v Lau YiuLong & Ors [1973-1976] HKC 377 (HC).
