释义	價值保證 A warranty in an insurance policy that at all times the sum insured will represent the full value of the property insured: Lek v Mathews (1927) 29 Ll L Rep 141. This entitles the insurer to avoid the policy for breach in the case of underinsurance. However the breach of a warranty for value clause only entitles the insure to reduce the amount of its liability by a sum which fairly represents the extent of any prejudice it suffers as a result of the breach: Dawsons Ltd v Bonnin [1922] 2 AC 413, All ER Rep 88 (HL).
