| 释义 | 銀行紙幣 A carefully produced note by a bank promising to pay to the bearer a stipulated sum on demand and intended for circulation as money. In Hong Kong banknotes are legal tender if they are issued by one of the three note issuing banks according to Legal Tender Notes Issue Ordinance (Cap 65), or they were legal tender immediately before the commencement of the Bank Notes Issue (Amendment) Ordinance 1995. Moreover the issue of banknotes in Hong Kong is fully backed by the US dollars (at the rate of HK$7.80: US$1) held by the Exchange Fund managed by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA). 銀行精製的紙幣，承諾按要求時支付持票人指定款項，同時亦可用作流通貨幣。在香港，如有關的銀行紙幣由三間發鈔銀行的其中一間根據《法定貨幣紙幣發行條例》發行，或緊接在《1995年銀行紙幣發行（修訂）條例》實施之前已經是法定貨幣，即屬法定貨幣。此外，要在香港發行的紙幣，必須提交美元（兌換率是每7.8港元兌1美元）作為完全的保證，並由香港金融管理局管理的外匯基金保管。n. |
