| 释义 | 場內要約人 In relation to the takeover of a company, the offeror that is proceeding to acquire shares by way of a takeover announcement. On-market offers are distinguished from off-market acquisitions under takeover schemes. Offeror includes companies wherever incorporated and individuals wherever resident. In relation to share repurchases, offeror means a company engaged in, or considering engaging in, a share repurchase in respect of its own shares: Code on Take-overs and Mergers and Share Repurchases Definition.
