Depending on the context, the term is defined with minor variations in various ordinances: a day other than a general holiday: The Rules of the High Court (Cap 4A) O 65 r 5(4). It also means a day other than a public holiday; and a gale warning day or a black rainstorm warning day as defined in the Interpretation and General Clauses Ordinance (Cap 1) s 71(2): Securities and Futures Ordinance (Cap 571) sch 1 pt 1 s 1.
