释义	共同並存侵權人 Two or more wrongdoers who act together to inflict one and the same damage on another person. Each of two or more joint tortfeasors, if sued alone, is liable for the entire damages resulting from the tort, although his contribution to the plaintiff’s injury or damages was a small part: Halsbury’s Laws of Hong Kong, Vol 25, Tort [380.052]. Separate judgments differing in amounts could be recovered against co-defendant as joint tortfeasors, so that whilst compensatory damages were the same, punitive damages might separately reflect an individual tortfeasor’s measure of guilt: Chu Siu Kuk Yuen v Apple Daily Ltd & Ors [2002] 1 HKLRD 1 (CFI).
