释义	租住權保障 The provision of some certainty to a tenant that he or she will not be arbitrarily ejected or evicted from the land. Various methods have been adopted including giving the tenant a passive right to remain when the contractual tenancy has ended until termination in accordance with the law is effected (Landlord and Tenant (Consolidation) Ordinance (Cap 7) s 117(1)); and continuing the tenancy while the tenant is applying for a new tenancy (ss 119A(4) and 119N(1)).
