释义	嗜癖 The state of being habitually dependent on a substance, usually a drug (prescription or non-prescription) or alcohol. Proof of addiction of a parent may be a relevant consideration for the court in matrimonial cases. The court decided that addiction like drunkenness per se is not cruelty so as to entitle the petitioner a decree for divorce. Cruelty is no longer a ground for divorce but is still a ground under Separation and Maintenance Order Ordinance (Cap 16) s 3(1): Chan Woo Lai Sheung v Chan Keong [1970] HKLR 392.
