释义	遺產管理 1. In succession law, the collection and administration by a person duly authorised to act as executor or administrator of the estate of a deceased person. This includes the payment of debts and where applicable, taxes or succession duties, and the distribution of the surplus or residue to the persons beneficially entitled under the terms of the estate. It includes letters of administration issued by the court in relation to the deceased’s estate, whether with or without a will annexed, and whether granted for general, special or limited purposes: Probate and Administration Ordinance (Cap 10). 2. In public law, the management, operation and decision-making functions of the various organisations or agencies of government. As such, ‘administration’ is generally applicable to the whole class of public functionaries or those charged with the regulation, inter alia, of employment, weights and measures, licensing of all types, travel agents, etc. 3. The performance of the executive function of government, as compared with the judicial and legislative functions of government: Glenister v Dillon [1976] VR 550 (SCV).
