For the purpose of trade, sale or production, a country or business entity brings in goods, labour, material, technology or expertise from an overseas country or an outside source. Either the importing country or entity does not have the imported item, or the cost of having it locally is relatively high. The Import and Export Ordinance was enacted to provide for the regulation and control of the import of articles into Hong Kong and the handling and carriage of articles within Hong Kong. 1. 將任何物品運入香港或致使任何物品運入香港《進出口條例》（第60章）第2條；《大規模毀滅武器(提供服務的管制)條例 》（第526章）第2條；《商品說明條例》（第362章）第2條。 2. 將任何物品運入香港或致使任何物品運入香港，但但不包括運入或導致運入轉運物品：《保護臭氧層條例》（第403章）第2條；《動植物(瀕危物種保護)條例》（第187章）第2條；《儲備商品條例》（第296章）第2條。指循陸路、航空路線或水路運入香港或安排如此運入香港：《應課稅品條例》（第109章）第2條；《釋義及通則條例》（第1章）第2條。 貿易與商貿 - 指將任何物品運入香港或致使任何物品運入香港：《進出口條例》（第60章）第2條。為貿易、銷售或生產的目的，指一國或業務實體自另一海外國家或來源運入貨品、勞力、材料、技術或專長。進口的原因是進口國家或實體沒有該進口的項目，或在本地獲取該項目的費用相對地高。《進出口條例》為規管進口香港的物品、以及對在香港境內處理及運輸物品訂定條文。n. |
