| 释义 | 良好聲譽及品格 A person’s disposition, reputation, integrity and moral standing. In determining whether a person fits this description, consideration is given to the regard in which that person is held by his or her acquaintances. The term ‘fame’ and ‘character’ are distinct. Fame relates to an individual’s popularity in the wider community while good character is an objective standard and not necessarily a reflection of what the general public actually thinks. 指某人的性格、名譽、正直及道德名望。在決定某人是否具有良好聲譽及品格時，須考慮與有關人士相熟的人對他或她的看法。「聲譽」及「品格」有別。聲譽涉及在廣泛社會裏個別人士的名望，而良好品格則是客觀的標準，無須反映公眾真正的想法。 |
