释义	司法機關 The body of people who adjudicate upon legal disputes in what are commonly referred to as courts of law. In Hong Kong SAR, the courts of law at all levels shall be the Judiciary: Basic Law art 80. The judiciary forms one of the three branches of the government, and under the doctrine of separation of powers it must exercise its powers exclusive of the legislature and executives: art 85. Judges comprising the Judiciary are appointed or removed only by the Chief Executive: arts 88, 89. Members of the judiciary enjoy immunity from legal action in the performance of their judicial functions: art 85.
