| 释义 | 受寄人非法侵占他人財產 The fraudulent taking or conversion by a bailee of property the subject of a bailment. The offence of larceny by a bailee may occur whether or not the bailee has contracted to restore or deliver the property originally bailed: Gerard Oliver Jones v The Queen [1957] 1 HKLR 157. In Hong Kong, this common law offence of larceny by a bailee has been abolished by the Theft Ordinance (Cap 210).
