释义	調停員／調解員 A person who mediates between parties to a dispute, to assist them to isolate issues in dispute and to explore options for settlement of the dispute. A single mediator or a board of mediation appointed under the Labour Relations Ordinance s 11A: Labour Relations Ordinance (Cap 55) s 2. A mediator is usually an impartial third party. A mediator is not liable to any suit or other proceeding for any act or thing done by him bona fide as a mediator: s 11C.
