| 释义 | 附屬法例 Legislation made by a person or body other than the Legislative Council by virtue of powers conferred either by statute or by legislation which is itself made under statutory powers. Subsidiary legislation includes any proclamation, rule, regulation, order, resolution, notice, rule of court, by-law or other instrument thus made and having legislative effect: Interpretation and General Clauses Ordinance (Cap 1) s 3. Such legislation has, if validly made, the full force and effect of a statute, but its validity may be open to challenge in the courts: Pang Tak Kwai v Commissioner of Correctional Services & Anor [2000] 4 HKC 575.
