释义 | 代辦 Fr. 1. A diplomat heading a diplomatic mission in a foreign state, who is accredited from the Foreign Minister of the sending state to the Foreign Minister of the receiving state. As such, chargé d’affaires do not enjoy as many honours as ambassadors, ministers and envoys, who are accredited to Heads of State. 2. A member of a diplomatic mission appointed to act as head of the mission in the absence of the regular head of mission in accordance with the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations 1961. Such a person is known as a chargé d’affaires ad interim (in the meantime).
