释义	對某些陪審員甄選程序的質疑 A challenge, by a party to proceedings, to an individual juror selected from the panel of jurors summoned in respect of those proceedings. A challenge to the polls includes challenges for cause and peremptory challenges. There is no limit on the number of challenges that may be made on a challenge to the polls. A challenge for cause to the polls may be made on the grounds that the juror is not qualified: R v Tremearne (1826) 5 B & C 254; or that the juror is somehow partial or might be unduly influenced to be partial to the other side: R v Swain (1838) 2 M & Rob 112.
