Consumer protection - To sell or hire out; to offer, have in possession, or expose for sale or for hiring out; to exchange or dispose of for any consideration; to transmit, convey or deliver in pursuance of a sale or a hiring out or an exchange or disposal for any consideration; or for commercial purposes, to give consumer goods as a prize or to make a gift of the consumer goods: Consumer Goods Safety Ordinance (Cap 456) s 2. Criminal law - To sell, distribute, or do any act to make available a thing. It is an offence for a person to supply or offer to supply a dangerous drug to or for any person in Hong Kong unless with authorisation and licence under the Dangerous Drugs Ordinance: Dangerous Drugs Ordinance (Cap 134) s 5(1), (2). Without more, assisting a person to inject a controlled drug is not supply: R v Harris [1968] 2 All ER 49.
