释义	後償信託 A device or mechanism used to subordinate the debt of a company. Under a subordination trust, the subordinate creditor (junior creditor) agrees, in consideration for the new lender (senior creditor) making the loan to the debtor, to claim the subordinated debt when it matures but to hold the proceeds of that debt on trust for the senior creditor until the senior creditor’s debt is paid in full. The use of such a trust effectively avoids the pari passu allotments that usually take place when paying out unsecured debt.
