释义 | 殘缺不全/喪失四肢 Lat — mutilare — to maim or dismember, to deprive of an essential limb by force. Refers to a testamentary instrument will that has been substantially damaged by being torn up or otherwise destroyed by the testator or by some other person in the testator’s presence and by his direction, with the result that the will so mutilated is presumed to have been intentionally revoked by destruction: Cheese v Lovejoy [1877] 2 PD 251.
