| 释义 | 已停止的支票 A cheque on which the duty and authority of a bank to pay a cheque drawn on it is terminated by countermand of payment: Bills of Exchange Ordinance (Cap 19) s 75(a). An attempt to cash a stolen cheque which has been stopped can amount to the offence of attempted theft: R v Ng Yun-tong [1991] 1 HKLR 335.
