| 释义 | 新發行 An issue by a company of new securities, either debt or equity. An issue may be offered to the public including the existing shareholders. Alternatively, it may be a rights issue or entitlement issue offered only to existing shareholders. All new issues of equity securities by a listed issuer are first offered to the existing shareholders by way of rights unless they have agreed otherwise: Listing Rules r 2.03.
